WINNIPEG – May 26, 2025 – The Manitoba Securities Commission (MSC), a division of the Manitoba Financial Services Agency (MFSA) is issuing an investor alert regarding Right Capital Ventures LLC (formerly “Do It Right Trade Corp.”), a supposed investment company based in Costa Rica. This organization is not, and has never been, registered in Manitoba to engage in the business of trading securities or advising anyone with respect to investing in, buying, or selling securities. The organization may also be listed as 14493320 Canada LTD.

Since 2021, the individuals involved with Right Capital Ventures – Sarah Anne Thomas, Ryan Michael Thomas (both originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba) and Monica Santos – have taken money from Manitoba investors to supposedly invest in securities and cryptocurrencies on behalf of investors, for a fee. Sarah Anne Thomas, Ryan Michael Thomas, and Monica Santos are not, and have never been, registered to trade in securities in Manitoba.

Members of the public are advised to contact the MFSA if they have invested with Right Capital Ventures LLC, Do It Right Trade Corp., Sarah Anne Thomas, Ryan Michael Thomas, or Monica Santos, or if they believe they have been targeted by any type of investment fraud attempt.

MFSA encourages all Manitobans to be fully aware of whom they are considering investing with, and suggests following some basic steps prior to investing:

• Check an individual or company’s registration at aretheyregistered.ca; if they are not registered, that usually indicates a red flag.
• Research the investment before making a commitment.
• Look for investment fraud red flags such as promises of high returns with low risk, pressure to invest quickly, and inconsistent details.
